Have a look at this
page, for some movies of Japanese N scale trains in action !!!

A new layout with a new concept - a
multi-person modular
layout !!!
Soon to
be seen in
Even if you are not interested in Japanese trains specifically, but would like something that is guaranteed to attract attention when you run it on you own or your club's layout, have a look at this page. Also a mine of information for the Japanese model train enthusiast !!!
The current layout I first exhibited in October 2002, but many changes have been made since then. Sadly, this layout is now also history !!!

Progressive history of the first model railway
I know of that was designed and built over the Internet. Now it is only
history !!!

A large layout that was planned as the next
exhibition
layout, but will now
be built as a home layout, when time and space permits.
A
small layout that was planned to be
built before
Shin-Yamanote, but will probably not be built now.
The project is on hold - maybe someone
else would like to use the idea for a small rural-type layout ???
containing .....

Details of the main transportation
systems in the Tokyo area, together with train types, connection
details, times
etc ...

Details and recollections of my first visit to Japan in Jan/Feb 2001,
particularly regarding the railway aspect.
Also tips and hints for the unsuspecting foreign traveller !!!
My second
visit to Japan, in Aug 2002.

My third
visit to Japan, in Mar/Apr 2004.

My fourth visit to Japan, in Aug/Sep 2005.
Included
in the 4th visit was a visit to
EXPO2005, and this included the JR Central pavilion which had a Maglev
train on
display.
See this
page for details and pictures of this experience, and the N
scale models of the Maglev trains that I bought.
My 5th
visit in Dec 2008 and 6th visit in July/August 2009, will be
listed when I get time :-)
The 7th visit in October 2009 for a family funeral, and will not be
listed
:-(
High
quality video
footage of many aspects of the railways of Japan will be released
on DVD ( in English),
as well as a preview service of the many Japanese titles
available.
